Born in 1981, Mauve Drouin fell in love with photography during her adolescence when she received an old chrome Nikon FM and discovered the magic of watching an image appear in a darkroom impregnated with chemical vapors.
In 1998, she went to college to study the medium thoroughly; from large format to digital photography, from Niepce to Nachtwey.
She is now working freelance as a documentary photographer, concentrating on environmental and social issues.
